Alessandra + Patrick | Carmel Valley

Delighted to photograph my college friend Patrick, and his wife, Alessandra's wedding in August 2012. (I'm backlogged with weddings and shoots but slowly catching up)...Their theme was adult camp in the woodsy campground of Carmel Valley where the light was soft and pretty. I absolutely loved their color palatte, and major major thumbs up (because i'm in Brazil where a thumbs up is as common as a wave) to the couple for planning their wedding totally DIY on their own. Incredible!! From the details to the ceremony to the flowers, it was absolutely beautiful. I'll be adding their wedding to my website shortly!

 

Margaux + Andres | Bottega Napa Valley

Jennifer + Jordan | St. Helena

I've been photographing more weddings with film lately, and have been fortunate to be hired by my friend, and exceptionally talented photographer, Meg Smith, to shoot alongside her with my favorite camera. We photographed Jennifer & Jordan's fall wedding at the very lovely Durham Ranch, in St. Helena. Super cute couple. It was a delight to be a part of their day!

Summer bouquet

The wonderful thing about getting married in San Francisco in the summer is that it lends to classic and timeless or very creative weddings because the weather doesn't really dictate themed seasons like to the north in Napa/Sonoma. I'm sharing Jill's bouquet from a summer wedding back in June at the Oceano Hotel and Spa on the coast in Half Moon Bay. The weather was typical June gloom. Heavy fog settled in yet the colors of her bouquet shared so many colors to brighten the day.

Gorgeous wedding in the little village of Ephraim, Wisconsin, outside of Green Bay, over Labor Day Weekend. I love shooting with my hasselblad, and knew this wedding would be perfect for it!

Earlier this year, I was commissioned by one of my most favorite photographers, Meg Smith, to second shoot a gorgeous San Francisco wedding with her. She suggested that I bring my hasselblad to photograph the event, so I just wanted to share some details from their surprise wedding reception. yes. the couple married at home, and then surprised their guests with an announcement during a dinner party they had arranged at the very lovely Boulets Larder (what a fantastic place for an intimiate dinner party btw) at the Ferry Building, in San Francisco.
